Me and my daughter wanted some authentic Ethiopian food and this restaurant did not disappoint. The food was so delectable, and vibrant. Delicious is an understatement! The two meals we ordered were filling; so much so we had this meal also the next day for lunch. In addition to the exceptionally delicious meals, the service was friendly and welcoming. Thank you! In conclusion, I highly recommend this restaurant.
Fantastic food. My favorite style of cuisine, I have been to many Ethiopian cuisine restaurants all over including months in Ethiopia. I would return to this one instantly. Strong beer selection as well, beyond just Meta and St. George!
This is THE best Ethiopian restaurant in Denver. It’s family owned, the food is so flavorful, nutritious, and family friendly. We bring out kids (ages 9, 7, and 5) all the time and they love it. I know Colfax is torn up right now, but there is easy street parking on any of the surrounding streets. It’s well worth it.
The most delicious Ethiopian food in Denver by far. The service is excellent. I always get the vegetarian combo because the lentils are amazing.
Amazing experience at this Ethiopian restaurant! As a vegetarian, I loved the variety of flavorful veg dishes, especially the lentils and greens. The injera was fresh and perfectly tangy. The staff was friendly and helpful, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend for delicious and authentic Ethiopian food!
This is my *favorite* Ethiopian spot in Denver and bring all my friends here. They only offer dine-in, pickup, and takeout, and it’s absolutely worth it. I always get the vegetarian special and it’s more than enough food for one person. The atmosphere is chill. They get busy quickly, so I usually try to go right around when they open. Friendly staff, too!
Holy Moly! This place is incredible and so authentic. I grew up in DC which is known as the epicenter of Ethiopian food. This place is just as good as any of the places in DC and it turns out because they used to own one that my family used to frequent. Run to this place if you want delicious food. Don’t worry about Colfax construction, there was enough parking on the side streets that it was a quick walk. Totally worth every step my wife and I took.
This was a meal that we barely spoke during because the food was so incredible we became completely engrossed in the act of eating. It was truly so delicious, the staff were so chill and kind, and I tried to Shazam every song they were playing inside. 10/10. Would eat here weekly if I lived in Denver. This meal felt like a hug.
